Lack of clarity on the issues of rules and privileges of the Senate

Shouting and screaming at the Senate President made her look very unruly losing the support of even the Senators from her State

The sexual harassment allegations looked contrived and lacked substantial evidence

The accusations of a sexual nature came a tard too late and its timing looked to me very suspicious

A wobbly attempt by her and her handlers to position her as an example of women’s oppression has not caught fire as the vast majority of thinking women have snubbed her

I think she believed too much in her hype and was carried away by the fluffy adulation of Social Media which really doesn’t carry much weight in real life and real issues

Reno Omokhiri dealt her a mortal blow which painted her as one not to be trusted and with a devious pedigree of this nature

Kayode Fayemi’s clarification came late as the initial statement had solidified her reputation as a medusa strengthening Reno and pushing Akpabio as latest victim

The legal issue with her present husband, as alleged with some legal documentation showing possible blackmail to marriage, also did not portray her in a good light.

Although I have seen documents denying the existence of such documents or incident, I have also seen a rebuttal of the denial, saying that the incident happened that she actually sued her present husband before the marriage

Either way, it didn’t help her case and seriously blighted her case in the public space

Her performance on the floor during this matter and on Arisetv portrayed her as combative, rude and not respectful of order as the Journalists spent a considerable amount of time pleading with her to respect the rules of TV.

This further helped Akoabios case as Nigerians saw very clearly what they were facing in the Senate with her no respect for rules even on TV

Her husband escorting her to the chambers further deepened his public perception of being ‘caged’ as the footage didn’t show a bold and confident man

The kissing in public worsened it as it alienated the Muslim population cos of the fasting going on.

Akpabio was more strategic by first deploying his wife to attack the rage headlong before he came out to defend himself

His wife’s push numbed the initial attack, drew support from wives in that demographic and diverted the storm partially away from Akpabio giving him time to rally his troops to fire back

In conclusion, Senator Natasha has failed woefully in trying to position herself as a female fighter for women’s Rights but showed up as a spoilt, entitled and privileged Nigerian Female who got carried away and fell flat.

Come and beat me

Thanks

Duke of Shomolu
