I met the Asagba of Asaba

Today, I met the Asagba of Asaba and told him about our Play ASABA

But what struck me was the level of respect and love the Asagba showed me

He received me with 7 of his highest-ranking chiefs and they took me thru the strict traditions of the Asaba people

They tutored me on how to greet, speak and pay homage

The Asagba is a wise and brilliant king. A Prof of Law, SAN and brilliant technocrat, he continues to show tge very best in our tradition institution

In response to my speech, he showed the kind of clarity and presence of mind only a scholar at his level of academic pedigree could show

I was overwhelmed, almost rendered speechless by the gravity of it all

I have now met the Olu of Warri, Dien of Agbo, Emir Sanusi, Eze Aro of Arochukwu Kingdom and now the Asagba of Asaba making my theatre career one of the most prolific

I am still on awe with what I saw and experiences at the Palace today.

I even submitted a list of Asaba sons who are supporting me to which the Asagba thanked me fir the list and kept it

Asaba people with thisking have shown a very strong resolve to approach their development with a strategic intent

Ka, Im still speechless and remain humbled.
