In a late night call by HE Babatunde Fashola SAN to the Duke of Shomolu, Mr Fashola former Governor of Lagos State and former Minister of tge Federal Republic expressed his huge regret for not being able to attend the shows and stated his delight at the strong feedback he got on both plays.
He assured the Duke of his constant support and wished the cast and crew well.
Fashola was depicted in Kokoro as the Governor who rehabilitated Kokoro by gifting him with a house
Babatunde Fashola SAN has been a long time supporter of The Duke of Shomolu who one time came for one of the plays two days after it had aired.
He appeared at the Glover Hall Marina Venue of Babakekere our Play on his predecessor Lateef Jakande only to meet an empty hall and was told that the Play had closed two days earlier
HE Fashola was a strong financial supporter of Kokoro and also contributed an essay in the highly anticipated Maddtimes power list Coffee table book
