If you haven’t watched the video of this lady, who happens to be the wife of the brother of the Senate President, yet, don’t waste your time, except you are one of those who enjoy salacious old wives’ gossip.
It was a contact in Abuja who first sent the video to me, asking for my thoughts.
I asked what was in it and she said – ohh it’s Akpabio’s sister in law accusing him of all sorts – killings, murder, adultery, kidnapping and all
I said I was not going to watch it, that it would be nothing more than bellyaching from a relative who must have lost her front row seat in the feeding trough
Then Slim sent it to me with the admonition that there is no smoke without fire
So I watched, and as expected, it was nothing but bile from a spoiled relation who looked and felt very pained as a result of something that most likely has nothing to do with her love for the country
Akwa Ibom has, in the last few months, dished out to Nigerians such worthless inanities hiding under the spurious claim of being in our interest
Our Governor’s daughter had come out to accuse him of having a hand in the passing of his wife, her mother.
All that was needed to quash it was a press statement, and there were such incentives, and she scurried back into a rat hole
Now this one, oneas erupted – ohh you are an adulterer, you have killed people, your wife is a ‘runs’ girl, you almost killed your brother, my husband, amongst other such bile that she threw up
If you listen and watch intently, the main reason for Oh is that the tide will hit you in the face
Ohh you want to eat alone, she screamed. You would rather share the spoils with outsiders than with your peopleā¦
That is the crux of the matter. With weakened institutions, we now have defied personalities who control our resources.
Your own fulfilment by better positioning yourself within the massive oven of avarice
This now breeds a huge sense of entitlement especially amongst those who have biological relationships with power
Adiagha Pat is one of them. As Sister in Law to the Senate President, she expects to be fully funded by the Nigerian state and when that doesnt happen, the sky must come down
Akpabio is not a saint and those of u who read me frequently and hear me speak will know where I stand with him
At the time of his election as Senate President, I had published that it was pretty unfortunate that my State, Akwa Ibom, had attained this height in national politics with this person instead of a more visionary leader.
Akpabio in my estimation symbolises everything that has gone wrong with our polity
Visionless, lacking a prescriptive leadership ethos, and an incestuous approach towards decision-making, with a positioning that doesn’t seem to understand the theme, for the greater good.
Sadly, however, there has been no constructive move to ‘take him out’ except for meaningless farts like this and the Senator.
A hapless accusation without empirical evidence, as Rufai Oseni would say, was not going to bring down a principality like Akpabio and in the same vein, this horrible screech from this woman would not even dent his armour
If we want Akpabio out and I believe a huge majority of Nigerians do, as a start to the cleansing of the augean stable, its not this rant from a spoilt brat who so happens to be his sister in law that would do it but a concentrated push from his constituency to further make them see the wrong they have done Nigeria with him and then hopefully, they would now do the needful
All these other attempts are just a mimicry that is both time-wasting and annoying.
Furthermore, I think she should take her prayers, whatever they are, to their village square so accurately their chief priest could give them ‘mbiam’ to swear such that if it’s true that the Senate President was ‘dealing with her cos she refused his amorous advances’ as she screamed in the tape, his Senatorial Penis would go bent anit’sever rise again.
We really do not need to hear all of this, its an Akpabio family drama and we should be spared as we have bigger fish to fry as a Nation
Adiagha Pat, will you keep kwayet?
Come and beat me
Duke of Shomolu
