Why Is This Necessary?
In recent years, too many men have been falsely accused, publicly shamed, and even imprisoned — only to be acquitted later by competent courts of law.
By then, their names, families, and livelihoods are already destroyed.
This is not justice.
A society that allows emotional outbursts, online trials, and weak investigations to override due process is a society that is failing both men and women.
The integrity of our justice system depends on fairness, not gender bias — on evidence, not emotion.
Every citizen deserves protection under the law, and every innocent person falsely accused deserves restitution.

What the Fund Aims to Achieve
We are proposing the establishment of a Legal Trust Fund for Justice and Reparations against False Accusations, to be headed by a respected Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) or a Retired Judge.
The Fund will:
1. Advocate for justice reform — pushing for compensation and restitution for anyone (especially men) falsely accused or wrongfully prosecuted.
2. Provide legal defence support — ensuring that men facing weaponized allegations have access to competent representation and due process.
3. Engage in policy dialogue — partnering with legislators, judicial officers, and civil society to review laws that are often abused.
4. Educate the public— through awareness campaigns on fairness, evidence-based reporting, and responsible media engagement.
This is not a movement against women — it is a movement for justice, truth, and due process.
⸻
How It Will Impact Society
When the innocent are protected, society becomes stronger.
When false accusers face accountability, real victims of abuse are taken more seriously.
When law enforcement acts with fairness and evidence, the public begins to trust the justice system again.
This initiative will restore balance, integrity, and hope — showing that Nigeria can protect both its women from genuine harm and its men from malicious persecution.

Enough Is Enough
If you do the crime, pay the price.
But no innocent man should lose his freedom, reputation, and sanity because of a system too weak to distinguish truth from lies.
This Fund is not about gender — it’s about justice.
It’s about saying Never Again to falsehood, trial by media, and institutional negligence.
— Duke of Shomolu
