The Censors Board panicked and quickly toed a middle ground, advising that the title be changed
I didn’t mince words on the live program, calling them bullies and an irrelevant association that would rather avoid the big elephant in their room and be pursuing the tiny Tambolo very far from them
As expected, some blind bigots came at me on social media, calling me all sorts of names, and I gave them back in double fashion – fools
My position was clear. They have not been able to regulate themselves and are now reaching out to attempt to regulate Nollywood
Within their fold, all sorts of criminal elements hide under cassocks and climb the pulpit to commit all sorts of heinous crimes, and the CAN has not lifted a finger
Pastor Chris Okafor, by this, his apology, is one of them
I have just seen a video of him on his knees, shamefully apologising to Doris Ogala and begging to be allowed to pay restitution
I am personally galled by this his admission of guilt through apology cos as a strong male advocate, I stood by him.
I called for Doris’ arrest on the grounds of the defamatory allegations she was making, and was eagerly awaiting her imprisonment
I had already started writing the essay in which I will praise Pastor Okafor and the Judiciary for standing firm on the side of justice and truth
Today, as I watch the apology, I bow my head in shame
So, this man did all the things she accused him of, and is expecting us to pat him on the back and allow him to continue in his nefarious acts while still parading himself as a man of God.
This is the perfect opportunity for CAN to show that they are genuinely a pious association that is governed by the tenets of our religion
They should now leave Ini Edo alone and seek the defrocking of this man, push for his possible prosecution and imprisonment.
Inside this matter, and according to Doris Ogalas, submission is rape, ritual killing, money laundering, fraud, bribery to subvert justice, to name a few
Even his daughters weighed in and made their own submissions, which made us puke
CAN will be seen as an irresponsible organisation if it does not stand up and use the same energy they used to pursue Ini Edo to pursue their colleague; otherwise, they will rot in the muse of incredulity
As for Doris, I would say she, too, has a lot of questions to answer
First, her brother, who died in funny situations according to her, must be looked into. That was murder, if you ask me, according to her
For now, Doris is not my focus, but that ancient any where belle face association – CAN, which has within it allegedly the most significant numbers of fraudsters in any known registered association in this country and who are still parading themselves in borrowed robes
If I am to choose between APC and CAN, I will run to APC, at least, because they are almost real with their intentions towards us
This CAN? Make I just keep quiet
