20 years ago, Mrs Nwadike who was already a millionaire walked into our offices at BGL and said she wanted to be a stocckbroker. She was immediately assigned to me to understudy me as Chief Marketing Officer on my way to being an Executive Director at BGL Asset
Despite the fact that she was reporting to me, I learnt a lot from her – dedication, hardwork, never say die and street smarts including igbo sense
She became a huge friend and used to hide me from the many women who would not let the dashing bow tie wearing stock broker rest and also help me beg when I was caught
Today, she finally reached her goal of being inducted into the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers an institution that I used to be a member
So I squeezed her in, ran into the huge hall and infront of hundreds of inductees and frowning officials said – madam come and take picture with me snd ran out again
