Journalist – Edgar, how are you taking Liz Benson’s pullout from MAKAMBA
Edgar – Does a moving train stop or slow down? Do planes slow down during turbulence? My brother, we had our cast set and ready; she was added to spice it up and help her reconnect with Nigerians. We still respect her for what she has been to Nigerians, and we remain grateful to the iconic beauty for even considering us in the first place, but for now, our focus is not only on Makamba but on all of our plays as we seek to show class once again.
We remain loyal and committed to our vision and stakeholders, and we would seize this opportunity to thank the Lagos State Government for choosing to bestow on us the largest-ever support to Nigerian theatre through us.
