Our women have come home, and yes, they have taken charge
They have moved away from the kitchen and walked past the living room, ignoring the bedroom and straight to the hallowed boardrooms of Corporate Nigeria and have taken charge
From Judiciary, to Law through Finance and health, even aviation, you name it, our women are in the driving seat, and I am loving it.
Our men have over the years grown weak in aptitude, outlook and drive
We have been ‘unokised’, a labelling that I took from Chinua Achebe’s efulefu-Unoka in his world-famous book, Things Fall Apart

Funmilayo Ransom Kuti, who chased away a powerful king, Margaret Ekpo, who was a thorn in the flesh to the colonial Lords, and many of our Female ancient heroes would look down at our women today with a smile and with pride
A lot of work still has to be done cos a lot more of our women are still mired in powerless voids, still selling their bodies for fulfilment and still wallowing in the mess of visionless living
The strong ones in their advocacy, mentoring and guidance must continue the good works of building stronger women and pushing more into leadership
They have said give a woman a chance, and she builds a nation, and that is exactly what is happening as they have stepped up to run things while we men remain at home measuring the size of our dicks like the Unoka that we are.
It is for this reason that I celebrate women this year, working with six of the best as directors for six of our Plays and the first two – Kokoro and Dora written and Directed by two of the best, Dr Adumati who was shortly given Associate Professor and Prf Ogundeji broke all theatrical records
The remaining four coming up this December would also be led by four extremely charismatic women directors, all PhD holders, with three of them Professors – Liman, Adenuga, Azobo, and Okoh, and they will put fire on stage, I swear.
Our women have gone mad, and God knows, I am liking and loving this.
