I was about sending out my congratulations to my brother Biodun Oyebanji after his victory at the Polls this weekend, until reports of several electoral malpractices started coming out, and I held back
The most telling one was the clip by Isaac Fayose and the missing voters’ cards allegedly issued to non-indigenes to vote, which now reordered the voting topography of the state
Till the time of this writing, I have not seen any refutation by authorities, which is a major source of concern for me
Gov Biodun Oyebanji is a gentle man and an upright man, and that is why I consider him a friend, hence my very strong support for his candidature
However, I am very sorry to say that I will withhold my congratulations until a strong rebuttal is made and all these allegations have been proven wrong.
Till then, I say come and beat me
